Hello there

I am using at home Apple Remote Desktop to access my Mac mini from my MacBook Pro. It works only on LAN, I believe.

However, I'd like to access to my parent's mini to download movies and TV shows via qBitorrent on it.

I wanted to try TeamViewer but do you know any other software?

What do you use and how easy it is for you? Any things to be aware of, like network security?

I've used a bunch of different apps over the years, but the easiest one to get full remote use of the computer for me is Chrome Remote Desktop. You can use any Chromium derivative browser too. I use it in the new Edge.

Just search for "Chrome remote desktop", it'll be a small app to download and install on the computer.
