hi,
i've been having some serious problem with my mac mini. Im trying to install a copy of leopard in my new hard drive and every time i try to boot the dvd holding the "c" key, the computer restart. I dont know what to do, i would appreciate any help.

thanks in advance!

Bernardo

Hold option at start and see if the CD shows up in the list of bootable options.

If you have the new mini then you'll have to use the restore disks and not a retail copy. I would suspect your retail copy is not 10.5.7 so it doesn't have the drivers for the new mini. Same thing happened to me
then I realized my retail copy was old.

Ahh, no wonder. I just tried the same thing and it wouldn't boot from my 10.5 retail disk. That explains it.
