Hello ladies and gents,

I have a concern regarding my Mac Mini. At the moment as I type this, I have a temperature sensor running, and it reports my CPU temperature is currently 81 degrees celcius. At the moment, I have Google Chrome open, along with MSN and nothing else. I'm running the Mac Mini 1,1 with an Intel Core Duo 1.66GHz with 2GB RAM. Surely this temperature can't be normal.

If anyone could shed some insight on what I can do to reduce this temperature, it would be greatly appreciated. It never used to run this hot - used to idle at around 45 degrees.

Thank you

Have you checked in Activity Monitor and listed All Processes sorted by CPU%?

Hello, indeed I have. CPU is running at around 10%

I just remembered something... I updated to 10.6.3 today and that is when the problem started. I can't believe I forgot. It has to be that. Any way to fix it without downgrading? How would I downgrade if I don't have the disk if thats possible? Thanks
