Some how the planets have aligned or the magnetic pull of the earth has changed.. But.. I have some how got my brother(Anti-Mac) to wanna get a Mac for his store as the main computer. Only problem is all of the cameras here are connected though one game serial port.. Mac Mini doesn't have that.

Some how I got him to considered a whole new system with two motorized cams rather then 4 stationary cams.

I need some help guying, how do I hook up two motorized webcams to the Mac Mini and have them record at the same time on start up.

I need the Mac Mini to boot up and load LogMeIn on start up which I have already figured out. I need to find a motorized webcam that will work on Mac. Then I need to figure out how to get two of those recording at the same time, automatically, when the Mac Mini starts up.

How do I achieve this?! I found a logitech cam that moves but I don't know if it will work on Mac, and if it does, can I get two of them recording at the same time?

I use SecuritySpy - it's very versatile, and definitely the best mac software in its category. I don't know if it controls motor functions though.

i use evocam, very nice software.

i just bought a old mac mini core 2 duo 2007, to record my ipwebcams. it will run 24/7.
i will install team viewer with password predefined to access in case i need to fix something, the mini setup will be non-sleep and automatic boot.

since i have completly remote access, i can transfer any avaiables files needed.
