Hi,
as some of you know, I just got a 2010 mini server. I'm very happy with it except for one thing. Some times, most of them, the dock gets sluggish, and the spaces animation too. I used to have the same problem on my late 2009 mini, but not as much as I am getting now. For example, if I turned the iTunes visualizer on, the graphics improved, and now, if I turn it on, they get worse. I am running it at the same monitor I used the old mini, at the same 1080p 60hz configuration.
Now for the facts:
-At the monitor menu, I see that his frequency is at 67.5hz.
-When I first booted the 2010 mini, I finished the installation but the mini booted and I had to do it all again, like some kind of error ocurred and the instalation wasnt completed. So, could it be a vad installation ?
-Could the snow leopard server be causing it ? One thing I noticed is that my kernel task is aways using 15%-30% of my processor, wich didnt happened in the old mini.
-I use hdmi-dvi adaptor. Would be any diference in using mini displayport-dvi instead ? Or could the problem be my dvi cable anyhow ?
So guys, could you give me a hand here ? When it ocurred in the 9400M, I assumed that the chip couldnt run 1080p well. But, isnt the 320M capable to run 1080p just fine ? I am getting angry with it.
Thank you in advance.
