Hi All,
I have a Mac Mini Server 2 GHz i7 8GB 10.8.2. Ipad 2 6.0.1

The Mac Mini gets it internet connection via ethernet and I'm trying to connect my Ipad to the mac mini to share the internet connection here is what i've done.

Mac Mini
System Preferences
Sharing
Turned off Internet Sharing
Share your connection from: Ethernet
To Computers Using: Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi Options
Network Name: imac
channel: 11
Security: WPA2 Personal
Password: **********
Confirm Password: **********
Press: OK
Tick Internet Sharing then press Start

On the iPad
Settings
Wi-Fi
Choose a network: imac
Password: **********

There is a tick next to imac in the wifi setting on the ipad however when you try to go onto safari there is no "connection", the 3 signal arch lines dont appear on the iPad. I have also tried not setting a WPA2 Password either.

The Mac Mini is showing in the bar at the top right the wifi signal with an arrow pointing out.

Any Ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Regards
