Mac Mini Server DVD Region?

Im curious if anyone knows the settings for DVD player on the Mini Server?
I was thinking of multitasking it for a Media station instead of the appletv and using it as a server to manage my networked computers and websites.


But at anyrate, does it only matter if an external SuperDrive is connected as opposed to having VIDEO_TS DVD folders on the unit itself?
AS most will be in that format already.

you can bypass the Region Coding by using VLC, otherwise you can only do it 5 times. tbh I'm not sure.

well i was wondering on getting a new mini server without a superdrive how it would work out of the box, if it still uses DVD regions when playing something like a various VIDEO_TS files
