I am about to purchase an M1 Mac mini.

I am in the Army, I browse Safari, Word Processing Apps, Teams, Zoom, and I randomly dabble in simple photo editing. I know the Mac mini will be more than enough computer but HERE IS MY QUESTION!

I usually have my own user profile and my wife has her own. Should I still get the base model or upgrade the SSD since I know having two users can take up space.

Anyone have any best practices or tips?! THANKS!

+1 to @Fishrrman. Don't go less than 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. More if you can afford it, especially on the RAM side. You can always augment storage later with externals, but you can't upgrade or augment the RAM after purchase.
