mac mini to an dlp tv green and pink

I new to the mac wolrd i have a mac mini just bought it in march 2012 trying to hook it up to my dlp tv it dose have an hdmi and thats how i have hooked it up to what i am getting is a green and pink gray colors only what do i need to do thanks so much

sorry to spill the bad news, but it is an HDMI incompatibility. Even trying other port will result in non working or same issue.

Saddly, there are multiple issues with the new I5 and old and new tv's with HDMI. My old mac mini (Late 09 with onboard nvidia) worked flawlessly with my old 42" RCA, the new mac mini i5 with intel or ati resulted in fuzzy, mostly purple colours. new TV fixed that.
