Mac Mini to HDTV Problems

Hi I'm having problems with my mac mini 1.25 G4 set up to my Philips 42" 1080p HDTV.

When I boot up the mac it automatically sets the correct resolution, but after about 5 minutes of use I start getting this color digital static and then after a few hits of this the TV goes blank. Sometimes I can get it back if I move the mouse or type on the keyboard, but it eventually goes away again.

Has anyone ever heard of this or know how to fix it?

How is yours hooked up?

VGA? DVI? HDMI?

VGA wouldn't work on my Samsung HDTV, but it works fine through HDMI.
