Hey everyone,

So I am trying to figure out the best way to use a non-hdtv with a mac mini. The tv doesn't have any DVI or VGA inputs on it, just regular component, and the PrPgPb or whatever it is called. It also has a s-video in. So what would be the best, and preferably cheapest way for me to go about doing this?

Thanks

Ok so this is an old thread, but I figured I would just continue asking questions in it. Same situation, I just need an opinion. Would it be better to go with this adaptor(http://store.apple.com/1-800-780-5009/WebObjects/EducationIndividual.woa/9414007/wa/PSLID?mco=72417D66&fnode=home/shop_mac/mac_accessories/cables&nplm=M9267G/A&wosid=il70vVSJwSzs2EZL9hHQKTfrNYv)

or a cable like this(http://sewelldirect.com/DVI-to-Component-Adapter-Cable-6ft.asp) or this adaptor (http://sewelldirect.com/dvivideoadapter.asp)

I have a G4 mini, so it has an ATI Radeon 9200 in it, which may make a difference in this case since the adaptor says it is supported by ATI chipsets. Thanks in advance for the help

the 2nd option (cable) would prolly be your best bet
that way you dont need another component cable like option 3(adapter)
and this will provide better video than option 1(apple adapter)
