What do you think would be the toughest/harshest environment conditions you could successfully use a Mac Mini in? With its small size and relative power it would be an interesting computer to use in an industrial setting. The main drawback I see to this is the high temperatures and debris in a factory or industrial installation. Any thoughts or has anyone used a Mac Mini outside of a home with success?

You could talk to these guys: http://www.macminicolo.net/

Maybe there's a way to set it up in a filtration box which could let air flow in but perhaps keeping dust out or to a minimum. If there's a will, there's a way. Just a thought.

Because my mini is completely cool to the touch, I would expect it to perform better than most computers in a hot environment. Airborne dust could affect any computer.
