Right here
I have the late Mac Mini 2012 $599 model. I recently swapped my old Mini for the new one using the same keyboard (Macally) and mouse (Logitech). The issue is that sometimes my keyboard will disconnect making it impossible to use even if the power to it is still on via green lights. This has only happened a few times in the last week. It doesn't matter what USB ports, I think it's controller problem. It happened with my mouse too. Should I get it replaced ASAP? Keyboard and mouse are working fine as I type this but I don't wanna have to unplug and replug every time it stops working on me.

Anyone experiencing the same problems?

Just as a point of reference, I'm using an older Macally "iMediaKey" USB keyboard with a 2012 Mac Mini.

Although there no longer is software to support the extra keys (up above the regular keyboard), the keyboard itself works fine. No problems.

Suggestion:
Try connecting to a different USB port, and see if that makes a difference...
