A potential setup I am looking at doing is setting up a Mac mini in my bedroom as a media server to both my :apple:TV and to the bedroom's Sony CRT TV. Next to the bedroom is my office where I have an extra LCD monitor I use as a second monitor on my MBP. What are thoughts on stringing a 50' VGA cable from the Mac mini to the monitor in the room next to it AND trying to use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to control it (minimal use and setup, etc.)?

I have a 50' VGA cable running from my Mini to my projector that I use in my home theater. If there's a signal loss, it's not much. My bluetooth keyboard and mouse are never more than 15' away from the Mini.
