I have a mid 2011 Mac Mini i5 with 8GB ram that I use as a media center.
I recently noticed that the video is giving me eye fatigue and decided to try and get the mini calibrated, which has proven extremely difficult.
The black's seem to be "crushing" which causes the already blueish whites to make the whole image to look awful.
I'm now thinking that even Plex must be looking crappy since they don't allow me to by pass they're brightness and contrast settings.
Is there any way I can calibrate my Mac Mini to look great while playing video?
I have already tried creating new "profiles" on the color portion of the display settings and like I said the blacks are just ruining the whole thing.
What are some of you who are using the Mini as a media center using to calibrate it for optimum video playback?
Thanks in advance.
