I am looking to buy a Mac mini - 2.3Ghz i5/ 2Gb/ 500Gb for projection of video, with a High definition projector.
The file of the video is 30gb. what would be the most suitalble file for this and what is a good loop program to play the video on?

What kind of video file (format)?

Have you looked at just using Quicktime (will probably choke on a 30GB file), VLC, MPlayerX, you may also want to look at: http://www.renewedvision.com/propresenter.php?page=pro4.

Cheers

Is the video file uncompressed? What is the format? 30gb is really huge. Consider recompressing it in a lighter format, it will play better.
