Hi I am in the research stage of getting the i7 Quad core Mac Mini.
Apple's web site doesn't say the highest resolution it supports.
I want to have a 27" or even 29" monitor as the main display (27" is 2560x1400)
and attach a smaller (1920x1080) to the HDMI port. I am wondering if the Mini supports it .

Thanks.

I use my apple 30" cinema HD display at 2560x1600 on my mac mini i5 so I'm guessing you should be good.

sorry, missed the HDMI part of your post....I've never gotten good results out of HDMI, I went the thunderbolt to DVI adapter route, maybe do that with and add a splitter?

Thx all for replying. It's hard for me to imagining the Mini won't support a 27"(2560x1440) monitor, so I took the chances bought a used one on eBay. :)
