I was looking at these two computers. I think I am going to buy a pc and mac, since I need a PC for some things. So instead of buying the single G5, i might get one of these. Now I can find them for around the same price on ebay. Which one would be better? Upgradability would be the Dual G4, but since I would already have a pc, would the mini be a better secondary computer?

You mean a single G4, right? Well 1.25 against a possible 1.5 isn't much. And when you consider the obsolete graphics in the Mini and the 1 RAM slot... it has a better optical drive but those are easily had elsewhere. If you can actually get a dual 1.25 for <$600, that is one crazy deal.

EDIT: I see you probably meant a single G5. In that case, I say go with the G5.

I agree about the Dual G4 if you can find one for roughly the same price. Even if you can find a well priced single G4 then I think you should go for that as for as upgradability as long it is 1 Ghz or better.

Dual 1.25 G4 would destroy Mac mini in most apps.

I would also suggest to upgarde G4's video card for Motion or games
