I've just bought a Crucial MX100 SSD to boost the speed of my old Mac mini late 2009. I would like to enjoy it, but I have trouble to boot from it: I can easily install Yosemite GMC to SSD while booting from USB installation flash drive, but it's unable to boot from SSD - instead there is a flashing folder with a question mark image on the screen. When I do long pressing the Option key, there are no partitions recognized. Seems that the drive isn't supported by the Mac firmware. But I read on this forum that this drive is a good solution for my late 2009 Mac. How can I solve this issue? Thanks for any suggestions.
