I just opened up my Mac mini to do a RAM upgrade and 1 of the antennas ripped in half (I have NO idea how) when I tried inserting them back in. Now, I looked it up and apparently it's the airport antenna. Is this really of any use? The main airport antenna is still in tact and my wireless appears to be going at the same speed. Is the second antenna just for range or is my speed affected too?

There are three in total and my bluetooth keyboard I am typing on now works perfectly fine. There are 3 antennas in total. Two that are identical, and one that is larger. I broke off one of the identical ones.

Do you own a mini with N-spec wireless? If so, the two smaller ones are both for the Bluetooth, it'll probably still work, but won't have as good a range :)

Yes I do have the Wireless N 2009 version. Wow, Im so glad it's just bluetooth! I thought I noticed the wireless slowing down, but that was probably just my paranoia :p. The bluetooth I don't mind at all as it works perfectly anywhere around my room and I don't see where else I'd use it.

Thanks for the info! :)
