Mac mini Wi-fi behavior question.....

Hi,
I noticed my brand new mini internet browsing websites was slower than my old iMac core 2 duo. So I just used the diagnostic assistant, so I will see if it gets better.

I am wondering if the wi-fi indicator behaves the same in your Mini...when I click on the icon it shows this

Wi-Fi:On

then every 5 seconds Wi-Fi:Looking for networks​

on mY 8 year old white Intel iMac is airport, and it just look for networks every 15 secs ...
