I'm preparing to sell a Mini, A re-install using original disks failed (something about Epson printer package was unverified. Did this 4 times). Then I tried restoring from Time Machine and I get the error message, on a darker gray screen, "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button until it turns off, then press the power button again." (in 5 languages!). Now when I turn it on, with or without a disc in the drive, the same message appears every time. So I can't even try anther Restore.

Any suggestions?

When installing from the disk, do not select print drivers and you should be fine

I no longer have that option. That error message is the only thing that appears, every time I reboot, with or without a disk in the drive.

So I can't install / reinstall or get to a screen where I could format the disk or start Restoring from Time Machine.

Its stuck continually rebooting :(

Reading endless forums, many posts suggested bad memory. I restarted while pressing D and got a diagnostic screen. It tested the memory and it passed.

Next I connected a Macbook Pro and connected the two by Firewire cable. Restarted while pressing T and I could see the Mini's files on the Pro's screen. Everything seemed ok.

Is there a way to use the Target (T) Pro to Restore the Mini from its Time Machine backup (while not damaging the connected Pro)?

same here

I have the same problem after doing a full system restore using Time Machine. The restore went without a hitch. Then it said you must restart. At restart I get the "you need to restart your computer. Hold down the power key..." msg in five languages. I hit the power key, and at restart I get the same message. It´s stuck on a loop

I use boot camp and have a windows partition, which still boots fine, but something went awry in the mac partition. What can I do?

Did anyone have any luck with this? I did a restore that was said to be success and now I get the you need to reboot screen in 5 languages every time I try to start up. Please help. I mean what is the point in having a time capsule?
