Mac Mini with Bootcamp

HI,

I am looking at purchsing my forst mac and intend to use bootcamp, but dont have any experience with it.

One question i wouldnt mind some advice is on how the partitioing works. Are you able to adust the proportion between osx and windows without wiping the whole drive, or is a deletion and reinstall of the bootcamp partition needed?

So a complete reinstall of he boot amp partition is required f you want to change its size.

Makes me think a 500gb hard dsk on the lw end mini won't cut it for what I need. Was thinking the 2.3 was the better bet long term anyway, and I don't want to muck about installing other drives if I can help it.

No! You can use the excellent http://twocanoes.com/winclone/ if you want to change the size of your Boot Camp partition at a later date.

I did this when I swapped the 1TB HDD for a 2TB HDD in my iMac.
