...or Handoff?

I got the impression that BT4.0 was the gating requirement. I was wondering through all the betas why it didn't work.

Disabled, unsupported on mine.

Googling back, iMore and other sites say BTLE is all it needs... and it's built in.

Are there any hacks to enable Handoff/Airdrop?

This is the exact same thing I'm experiencing at the moment. I have a Mid-2011 Mac Mini.

Bluetooth Low Energy Supported: Yes
LMP Version: 0x6

Handoff Supported: No?

:(

So you link to an article from June?

You need to do some more current reading.

I've yet to see anywhere else report something different. Has there been some development that's keeping Bluetooth 4.0 / LE Mac's from being able to use Continuity?

Are you joking around?

Look a few posts down...giant thread.

No sure where the hostility is coming from, but no, not joking. And I don't see any post related to Mac Mini's or any other Mac with Bluetooth 4.0/LE not supporting handoff. Could you please refer to the post you're talking about?

I'll sum it up.

You need BT 4.0 AND WiFi AC.

Or you can have BT 4.0 and hack a kext that typically runs WiFi AC.

Many people have spent a great deal of time figuring out what it takes to work.
