1st gen macmini running panther. kids computer.
Just been noticing that it doesnt automatically sleep. checked energy saver and adjusted the settings but this doesnt help. I can only make it sleep by clicking apple-sleep

anyone else noticed this

any ideas?

If it has bluetooth installed, make sure that waking devices through bluetooth is off as that can continuously wake up a Mac if you have a misbehaving bluetooth device.

Other things like USB and FireWire devices can make a Mac not sleep or wake up all the time.
