Im EVERYWHERE!
Hi, im about to become a switcher and i want to do some research before my baby arrives, where can i find guides on using a mac for the first time, i know i could just ask all of u guyz with your amazing help but i dont even know what to ask lol

Here is a good start. Lots of folks willing to answer "real" questions. Also MacFixit is good for troubleshooting. But honestly, you probably won't need any kind of manual. The included help menu and clicking around with your mouse are all you really need.

sorry less kern i just am new and dont know what i need to know, didnt mean to annoy you sorry :(

um, i don't think he's annoyed. I mean i'm pretty sure....

Don't worry about it. MacRumors is a very friendly place, people are just trying to help.

The MacRumors Starters guide is excellent.

You can also take the free Application orientation classes at your local
Apple Store.

I totally enjoyed the GarageBand orientation class and plan to attend the Logic
Class ASAP.

Welcome to Macrumors and to your impending switch. I am so sure (I think) that leskern wasn't annoyed - he was just stating how it works! We are a very friendly and (hopefully) helpful bunch of people. :)
Get your machine, play and then, when/if you get stuck, do a search on these forums to see if your problem's already been dealt with; if no joy, ask! Easy. :)
