What I think is that iWork is a much, much better buy than MS Office, and it's almost completely compatible with any office document.
I have run into many documents that are not what i would call compatible. yes they open, but things are out of place or just missing, and unless you open'd the doc in MS office you wouldn't know that things are missing or moved, so if there is any importance to the document, you need to use ms office. Iwork just is not there yet.

I found this too. While at University my lecture handouts lost all formatting when opened in Pages. I put up with it as the text is still there.
Agreed. I found myself wanting to use it but could not because of missing items on documents.
Still great if the documents produced/opened are formatted properly.
