Sorry was a too I had to bad drives 3TB and 8 Tab via nad and both worked till made th upgrade ! I could never get two bad disks to backup at the same times like one would work and another gives me error? Even if I could browse the filesv I do a full backup to one and try song to another and it would saying something like backup in use try ejecting disk? It has worked fine for last 4 years zero issues and since beta 1 or 2 or broke.

I updated to 12.2 and out of no where it started to do fresh back yo after I formatted the drives for the 10 time to try to get them to work and also the backup speed has increased over wifi?

It was strange I made a post before regarding TM issues but one one had a clue, it had to be a bug cause what would cause one drive to stop working out of no where ? Than one I formatted the other drive would stop working and vise versa today was the first time with 11.2 in TM both drives did a full new back!

So I am very happy!!!

This seems to happen over here in Bulgaria for 1-2 days after an upgrade is announced.

Can a mac silicon M1 user start a short analysis streaming with console for me? 5 seconds is enough and look if the error
07:40:26.166122+0100 kernel Failed to write key 1950826801 to SMC with error code 86
is fixed in the 11.2 beta?
this task produce a lot of disk activity.

Is it possible to clean install a beta? Specifically 11.2 beta

11.2 release seems to be taking forever to drop!

Presumably the reason why 11.2 is taking ages "to drop" is because the folks at Apple central want to do a lot
of fiddling around before they release it . . . . certainly if they are paying attention to the moans on Macrumors
re 11.1 they will be both getting down-and-dirty and getting all sweaty . . .

"Taking ages"? 11.1 was released less than a month ago. Apple usually releases 6 updates each year.
My mad math skills say that it's not "taking ages".

Apple only checks their internal radar system. If you want something fixed, send a feedback in the Feedback app.

They were releasing betas at a furious rate before the launch. I'm guessing after 11.1 dropped, Apple lifted time off restrictions for employees and devs took a much needed break

The Christmas - New Year break is part of a indefinite extended stay at home until ICU conditions improve in Silicon Valley. But besides that its is likely they are testing 11.2 betas against new hardware before it is issued. I too am hopeful this week we see a return to the beta update progression we seen in the past. ;)
