Anyone know any good links to finding some OS 9 icons or fonts?
I really want to turn my snow leopard machine into an os 9 (no emulator)- i just want the look, and I am really having trouble finding icons and fonts and things like that. I would even go for some earlier than OS9 stuff- retro, classic, whatever.
While i'm on it, anyone know the font used in the menubar and folder icons?

thanks.

i'm guessing there is nothing like tinkertool or candybar that can help me with macing out my mac os 9 style on leopard yet?

Well, if you have a copy of Mac OS 8 or 9 handy, you should be able to copy the icons over- Mac OS X still reads the icons as far as I know.

And I believe the default menubar font is Chicago on Mac OS 7, and Charcoal on Mac OS 9.

Otherwise, there's gotta be icons and stuff floating around the Net, though the legality of such sources will probably be questionable.

And if you want Mac OS 7 retro, I think Mac OS 7.5 is freely downloadable from Apple, provided you have an old Mac to run it on (also look up SheepShaver). I know you don't want to use an emulator, but you could just run it in order to copy over icon files and that's it.
