Mac OS 9 Dev'p Dead, iPod excepted.

I can remember how SJ said (With a dramatic act) that development for OS 9 was ended.

But if you look at http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/ under the Mac OS X and Windows download buttons:

iPod Software 1.2.6 Updater is also available for Mac OS 9 users.

I'm not entirely sure, it may be just Mac OS 9 Apps, but not hardware support.

I think as long as Apple lists OS 9 as a supported OS on the box or promo material, then they have to live up to that promise and keep it updated.

My guess is the next versions of iPod will be OS X/Windows only.
