Hello.
I beg your pardon if this discussion has already been done, but my searches were all failures.

I bought an iPod nano and would like to easily transfer files to/from it.

I have downloaded the application Senuti, but I'd like to transfer files without using iTunes. Is it possible?

Could you please suggest me some nice applications for my iPod?

I am completely new in this field and have no clue about good sites, developers, etc.

Thanks

You should be able to simply enable "Disk Usage" within iTunes to allow you to treat the iPod like a regular external drive.

All the iPod related files (music and videos) are just stored within hidden files.

Sorry, it's not an iPod nano, but it's a shuffle.

I would like to transfer, without iTunes, music files. If I simply copy them, I cannot listen any music.

So you want to listen to songs on a shuffle, except not through iTunes. I don't believe that's possible, unless you've hacked your iPods firmware.

XPLAY is brilliant - it simply allows you to use iPod as a normal MP3 player and just copy music on and off it...

Well for one, iTunes does not allow you to rip with LAME, something that I'm starting to do. WinAmp does I believe, as well as some other song management programs.
