I have an Element External HD attached to my iMac. I had trouble dragging and dropping files so I followed some instructions (stupidly) to open the drive and delete the above named file.
As i had this data on the hd prior to owning a mac, i assumed this was an empty folder on the hd, but unfortunately it contained all my data.
Anyone know of a good mac data recovery software? Preferably a free one if possible. I ran DiskDrill but once the files were recovered, it asked for $90 which I don't have.
Any ideas???
