Hello everyone,

I have searched for this issue already and since I have not find anything I would like to ask if this has happened to any of you.

I have bought a new Mac Mini 2020 a couple of weeks ago and since the first time I turned it on, the upgrade utility has informed me about a new version of the MacOS available for download (I don't upgrade the OS automatically, I prefer to check if it's a good or a buggy one before).

I still have the version that was installed when I first set up the Mac Mini 12.0.1). The newer version available was the 12.3 (if I remember correctly).

Till a couple of days ago (or yesterday, I'm not sure) there was the red stick on the icon of system preferences. Today I didn't see it anymore and I thought the OS had upgraded on its own somehow, but for my surprise this is what I see when I open and search for new upgrades (see image).

My question is: Why now Monterey don't see any new upgrades? Is there a way to fix this without having to upgrade to version 12.3?

I hope I was precise / clear enough describing my problem.

Thanks in advance for your time and answers/ suggestions.

Have you tried to do anything with command line?

I did use the command softwareupdate -l on terminal and its output (after a while) was the same message of no updates available as with the update utility. 🤷‍♀️

Just download the full Monterey installer from the App Store and use that, or in terminal use this:
softwareupdate —fetch-full-installer —full-installer-version 12.3.1
The dashes before fetch and full should be 2 separate short dashes, not the long hyphen shown above, so be sure to correct that in terminal.

Thank you so much! I will do that. Just a question is it "safe" to upgrade now? I have seen different problems with monitors and bluetooth lately and that have stopped me to upgrade. I know each system is different, but I just want to be sure. My mac mini is new. The installation is new but I did imported data from my MBP (mid-2014), so I don't know I this might have messed up with anything.

12.3.1 will, without question, be more reliable and more performant than 12.0.1 is.
