mac os server time machine issues.

I have a mac mini 1,1 connected to a drobo with 3 drives in it.

The mac mini us running 10.5.8 server and the the drobo is split into share points one for data and then one for time machine for each of my macs. all my macs have differnt acounts and acces there own set of drives the data drive and then the associated time mahcine share.

when i make the share avlible for time machine i get a waring that it migth not work and when i try to make a time machine backup it doesnt work (as expected).

does anyone know how to fix this issue or if it can be fixed?

Hey -

So...how are the partitions formatted? Make sure they are HFS+ (not case sensitive). Beyond that, how are permissions and ownership setup on the partitions?
