Mac OS X 10.10 question

So i take it the same like do a fresh install of the mac os x 10.9 if i am right.Sorry this be the first time upgrade on a mac
When it comes out sometime this fall, it will appear as a free update in the mac app store. You can choose to install it or not, it's up to you. If you do it that way and install it straight from the store using the install app, it will just upgrade right over your current Mavericks install and all your files and apps will still be available just as they were in Mavericks. If you want to do a clean format install you will have to turn the download into a bootable usb and then boot from the sub to install the OS. During this time you will choose your drive and format it and then begin the installation.

The easier way is to just download it from the MAS and install it over-top of Mavericks. Follow the prompts and it should go smoothly.
Yes, you just download it on the app store, and install it. Then you will have Yosemite instead of Mavericks.
I wouldn't worry either. It's not really like Windows where a clean install is always advisable. OSX has always been fantastic, painless and effortless with it's upgrade procedure. Sometimes some apps are no longer compatible but you'll wanna check that before upgrading. Otherwise everything should be intact and working flawlessly. For the most part really there is no reason/need to run a clean install.
If anything goes wrong with the upgrade or you DO want a fresh install you could always just use the recovery partition (hold alt/option key when booting) to wipe the disk then reinstall the OS. Chances of that are slim though. I've done several upgrades from Snow Leopard onwards and they've all been painless.
