Yes, it's nearly April 1st again. Remember these from last year's page 3?

- Apple and Disney Acquire Each Other
- Will FCP fix my movie plot?
- OS X Hacked by Supercomputer in only 185 days
- Find Highest Prices on iMacs
- iTunes in All Countries Except New Zealand

Who thinks there'll be a page 3 this year, and what might the headlines be?

Note to mods: if this is too much of a spoiler, feel free to delete thread.
Disclaimer: i have no knowledge of any april 1st plans whatsoever

Please if you are going to post an April Fools Day thread do so on the day.

Thank you,

While I'd hate to spoil the fun of potential headlines by trying to guess them, I'm hoping we do see some interesting news stories this year. Personally, I think it's great that the site has a sense of humor for these kinds of things.

Totally agree. I still think that the best one was in the papers that FIFA were going to force every team to field at least 1 female player at all times

Thanks for explaining. For the record, that's why I actually invited the mods to delete this thread if they felt it was inappropriate. Sigh...

I weighed up the pros and cons before posting and came to the conclusion that while some will read this thread, there are always going to be hundreds more on MR who visit on April 1st unawares. :D I also deliberately didn't mention the date in the thread title - just an oblique reference to last year for those who remember it.

However, I certainly didn't intend to cause a fuss. I'll leave this one in the hands of the (demi-)gods etc. :)

I prefer Heathcliffe.

Anyway, I love the April Fools page at MR, and like you, I'm also looking forward to it, so ignore people like Lexus. ;)

I guess there's always pressure for MR to come up with a better April Fools page each year, but it's always good for a laugh.
