I have Lion developer preview 3 installed on my baseline 13inch and have had no problems whatsoever. (aside from stability issues with the betas, DP3 is pretty stable though)

It has been proven that OS X Lion runs perfectly on the MBA.

It runs perfectly on a CoreDuo MacBook from 2006 (despite being "unsupported"). So of course it'll run perfectly on a 2010 MBA.

I have 2 partitions, one for Lion, and one for Snow Leopard (Main). This way, I can test out Lion and the new builds when they're released, while still having a stable, finished OS (Snow Leopard) for use. Installing Lion over Snow Leopard is a dumb move IMO because of the fact that since Lion is still a beta, there are still many bugs in it, and there are also stability issues (although stability is significantly better in DP3), and having a stable, finished OS (again, Snow Leopard) is much easier, and all it takes for me to go back to Lion is a quick restart and boom I'm back in whichever version of OS X that I want to run.

Win-win situation if you ask me.

Yes, works great. 40 GB partition running Lion, like a charm on my SSD AIR. A side note , "64-bit Kernel and Extensions: Yes", what is disabled on 10.6.X for AIR.

Which developer preview are you running? I got DP1 running on my '06 core duo, but i can't get DP2. Haven't gotten DP3 yet to try it. If you are using DP2 or 3, how did you get it to work? Did you have to do more than just delete the platformsupport plist?

Haha, no. But you're miss understanding. The fans spin from the moment you boot the laptop right up until you close it. it's constant, you don't even have to do anything.

It was a commonly reported issue
