When I plug my camera into my macbook, the iphoto application usually opens and i am able to import pictures. But last night it failed to open or even recognize that my camera was connected. is this an issue with my camera? Thanks!

have you try using "image capture" program to see if your camera is there and if it is, select it and down to left hand side it will ask you what program you want to open automatically,

hope it helps,

t :)

You may also want to try a card reader if you have access to one from a friend. It's worth purchasing one if you don't already own one. Also, try a different card in the Canon, maybe there's a problem with your card.
