Hello Mac Gods . ..
Some of you may remember me when I asked a zillion questions in the process of purchasing and setting up my Intel Imac. Now, I am looking to upgrade my G3 Pismo. My question is . . . if I upgrade the memory, etc. can I load the Mac OSX disk from my iMac on the Pismo? Is that legal? Is it possible or do I need to buy an upgrade?

k

well u only PAID for one license which u can onlu use on one machine legally
illegally you can do what u like but i didi not say that u could carbon copy clone ur imac's hd to pismo if it has firewire agagin this is illegall but doable

It's not legal. In addition the installer will probably fail to run as the recovery/installer discs you get with a computer are locked to computers of the same type, although I have managed to use PowerBook ones on iBooks in the past.

You should buy another license. If you are going to want a few licenses the Family Pack might be the way to go...
