Hi guys!

Using a lot of useful posts found here, I've installed Mavericks on my Mac Pro 1.1.

I have 3 HDD in my Mac Pro, one with Mavericks and the two others are empty. I've swapped the original Mac GPU with a flashed 4870 (I flashed this using atiwinflash).

Everything works fine, but the system always boot in verbose mode!

I've tried to delete com.apple.boot.plist, with no success.I've also enabled/disabled verbose mode, using the nvram boot-agrs command, but nothing worked. Also, I've cleaned the NVRAM on boot and via terminal. Nothing.

if I put back the stock HDD with Lion, it shows the Apple logo at the startup. Using the stock GPU, I have the same issue.

What else could I try to fix it?

Thanks!

In the meantime, I've checked the verbose mode while Mavericks boot. A line reports that the boot is in verbose mode, so there is maybe some issue I can't solve by myself. I'm still looking for a solution,

Where did you get the boot.efi you are using?

Verbose boot is hard-compiled on some versions.

Thanks for the reply!

I've used this one: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/mac-pro-2-1-and-os-x-mavericks.1598176/post-18411621

So I believe I have to change the .efi with the one you've linked!
