Should be fine. I used one with my 1,1 for the last month before I got rid of that tower.

The one Mac limitation I know of for those is that IF you plan put it in a Mac laptop by replacing the optical drive, you have to put this in the hard drive bay and move the hard drive to the optical bay.

The optical bay doesn't like the 6 Gb speed SSD drives.

That's pretty obscure, but I thought I'd mention it. Your tower should be fine.

Wondering if there are any capability issues running this SSD with a 1,1?

Will be buying it today.

One serious issue is that 128gb is way too small. You will find yourself quickly running out of space. One of the great things about having a SSD is how quickly apps load and handle disk intensive tasks. If you have to move your apps and docs off to a second drive, you will be losing a lot of the benefits. I've been through this myself and ended up getting a 256gb SSD. They are not that much more money. I would seriously think about spending a bit more and getting a larger capacity drive, even if it means saving up for a bit longer.
