I have a 3.0 Mac Pro 1,1 that will no longer boot. The power light comes on, but nothing happens at all. No video, no real fan noise, no spinning hard drive, nada.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help.

The video card was my initial thought. I don't have access to another one to check it out.

I will check the ram lights tonight. They will blink if the ram is dead?

To me that sounds a little bit like a PSU / power routing problem. Both the fans and the hard drives need 12V for their motors.

Can you measure the voltage for both 5V and 12V on one of the Molex connectors in the optical bays?! Measure should be the outer connectors ("live") together with its respective direct neighbor ("ground").
