hi guys, i'm having an issue with my mac pro 1.1 running last verison of yosemite with pike and yosefix script.

Mac spec: 2.66 ghz 32gb ram ati 5770 (apple) hd1 raptor 320gb hd2 1tb

Everything is working well except when it come the time for a reboot, in that case after the sistem shut down the mac is stuck on a black screen in a loop ( is continuosly trying to reboot, you can hear the noise of the superdrive when it start)

The only solution is pushing the power button to force a shutdown

Then it start correctly afterward.
I dont have isse if i shut down from the system. Any suggestion?

I've got a Mac Pro 1,1 upgraded to 2,1 firmware, running 10.11.2 using the "place the modified boot.fi file in 2 locations" method, and I recently had a similar issue (boots to a black screen). To get around this I reset the SMC and Parameter Ram.

Not sure if doing the following is safe seeing you have the Pike and Yosefix script, but if others can confirm it's safe then try the following:
Reset the SMC: turn Mac Pro off, unplug power from wall - wait 15 seconds, plug power back in (but don't turn it on yet) - wait another 5 seconds, then power it on (start it up).
Reset Parameter Ram: restart and immediately hold down Cmd+Opt+P+R - keep holding down while you hear the startup chime "bong" sound - release keys after the third restart "bong" sound.
