I have dragged my sons old early mac pro out of the basement to hook up to my TV. The iTunes was working fine until I was asked to update to the latest version of iTunes which is 12

Now I can't open my iTunes. Is this version too new for my old computer? How do I get my iTunes back??

Appreciate any feedback as a 1st time poster

Many thanks

Here is a guide to help you uninstall & re-install ITunes. If you have a ton of songs etc... You might want to backup to be safe.

"This process should not affect your iTunes library file or your actual iTunes media, both of which are stored outside of the application file"

http://www.tekrevue.com/tip/uninstall-itunes/

Hope this helps

Thanks that worked and iTunes back in operation!!

Much appreciated
