Mac pro 2009 memory compatibility problem

Hi,
I am new to this forum but I am hoping to get some answers here...

I am a very happy user of my Mac Pro 2009 8-core.
In trying to upgrade my Ram memory i ran into an issue.
I bought the mac with 12gb of ram. I recently bought 16gb of extra ram suitable for a mac pro 2009.
There seems to be a conflict in combining the two types of RAM. They work fine on there own (seperately).
But in any combination (no mater what slot), I get the white blinking light and the Mac won t boot.
For now i am using the 16gb ram, but it would be nice to combine the two if possible...

The original type of Ram is this the Hynix kind (picture)
The new type of Ram (with heathsink) is the HP kind (picture)

Any help would be more than welcome,

You can't mix UDIMM and RDIMM. You can use either type alone.

HMT125U6TFR8C are UDIMM
MT36JSZF1G72PZ are RDIMM

Would the memory on the attached picture (samsung) work in combination wit the old Hynix memory?
Just found out that the seller has sent me different brand of memory than was shown online...

Search for the data sheet and find if the memory is UDIMM or RDIMM. You should do this every time you are using different DIMMs.
