Hi all Guru i need help.
My Mac Pro 2009 EFI Mod to 5.1 few days ago had a broken Northbridge Plastic rivet and cause the IOH T-Diode shoot to 128'C.
Ive mod by replace both plastic pin with screw and nuts and now that's resolved but something else happen.
My Booster 2 Fan Report 0 RPM but the fan is spinning so now the Booster 1 fan spin at max speed as it think the Booster 2 fan not working.
Now the real question how to find which part was faulty the Booster 2 sensor or the Processor board!?
If i get a 2010 Processor Board will it work with my Mod 2009 Logic board?
Need help urgently.

As far as I'm aware, you cannot use a 5.1 tray on a 4.1.

As for the fan issue, it seems the sensor is not working. Is it disconnected?
You should look up an official Apple Repair Guide. Cost a few $$$ but worth it.

My 4.1 was EFI Mod to 5.1 so I'm not sure will it support the 2010 Processor Tray as the 2010 Tray come with the ISH clamp where the 2009 doesn't.

Booster 2 Fan are working i can see its spinning but iStat show 0RPM, only i can't determine which part is faulty the Fan Sensor or The Processor Tray.

I had the Apple Repair Guide but it didn't mention how to check on this.:(

AFAIK, your 4,1 is now using the 5,1 firmware, but not the 5,1 SMC. Therefore, if you install a 5,1 tray, it should boot, but the fan will spin at full speed.

Got it so by means just stick back to the 2009 tray. But on my case how to pinpoint which part is faulty as the CPU B heatsink and the Processorboard are not cheap both part nearly cost the same price.
