Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I couldn't find anything to match my scenario of using this type of chip in single form.
I know you can get the 2010 with 2 Hex X5650's, but my budget at the moment is very small and the X5650 is coming in at 1/3 of the price of other definite upgrades.
Ideally I'd love to get the dual cpu board and do 2 of them but the cheapest I could do that for is about $900 US Dollars which I'd still be pretty short of even if I sell my current board with the 2.8 Quad.
I'm planning to upgrade my graphics card too which will be funded from selling my Xbox One to game via linux boot on a separate drive.
Main reasons for upgrade is to give it some more power and future proof it for 4K, I'm not a huge fan of the newer trashcan system, it doesn't seem to have the upgradability like the old Mac Pro's, although I'm not totally against them.
