Hi Friends,
After few seconds in idle position screen goes off, then when try any key wake up my system it does not respond instantly, it takes 5 to 10 seconds to respond. But in my previous Mac air it was not the case, it opens instantly. Is there any option to fix it.

All MacBook Airs sold since 2010 have solid state flash storage for the boot drive.
Does your 2012 MacBook Pro have a hard drive - or an SSD?
If you have an HDD (spinning hard drive), then that will explain a relatively slow response on your 2012.

The "fix", in that situation, is to replace your hard drive with a solid state drive.
