Hello! I have an old Mac Pro 3,1 and i think that the graphic card, an 8800GT, died! Which kind of graphic card can i put in that is not to pricey?

I don't know what to search, because i don't know which one can work or not!

Thanks for the help

If you need boot screens and PCI info to show on your Mac then you can search eBay for secondhand Mac cards or take a look here for flashed ones.

If you don't need those, than almost any PC card will work. Especially old and cheap nVidia GPUs, like GT210, GT220 etc.

You could also take a look below, at this page, where you have "Similar Threads" that have already been answered. :)

I had an EVGA 750ti 2GB which worked nicely in my 3,1 (now in my 4,1). As mentioned no boot screens, but if you have keep an old GT120 that won't be much of a problem
