I have a 2009 Mac Pro 3,1 with a 2.8ghz quad core xenon dual processor. I’m at the moment running El Capitan but have been following the webpage of ‘dosdudes1’ to install High Sierra onto unsoported macs. I’ve followed the instructions to the letters twice now but with the same problem!
when High Sierra is installing it seems to ‘stick’ at 15 minutes remaining even after 1 hour passing. Looking at the log it shows a repeated line as shown in the attached picture
any help would be most appreciated

High Sierra should work through dosdude Patcher.

download HS through the Patcher App. Maybe you have an outdated version.

I had problems installing it when using 64GB of RAM, try reducing it to 32GB or below. There was a thread on MR about it not liking it if you used more than 62GB of RAM so you had to enter a terminal command to lower the amount of RAM it uses.
